Champion Bowland also administers the Forest of Bowland National Landscape Outdoor Learning Transport Fund.
This is a fund designed to help with the cost of bringing school parties and other groups to visit designated working farms in the National Landscape for educational value. 50% of transport costs up to a maximum of £250 per visit is available.

Charitable Purposes:
Champion Bowland exists to promote, for the benefit of the public, the conservation, heritage and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and advance the education of the public in these areas.
We do this by encouraging giving via the Bowland Sustainable Tourism Network, securing grant funding via organisations like the National Lottery Heritage fund and through a variety of fundraising activities within the AONB.
The proceeds from these activities are then distributed across the Forest of Bowland via our small grants scheme – which businesses, individuals and community groups can apply for.
